THE HUNTING AREA
ELocated in North Cameroon between
Garoua and N'gaoundéré.
Composed of large flatlands covered in bush, it is crossed by several
mountain chains and permanent rivers.
The hunting area covers nearly 200 000 hectares and is remote from any
road . No village is located in that zone which does preserve it's wildlife
density. However a network of over 500 km of hunting tracks allows to
reach the remote areas.
In the mounts Kem and Wal (1650 m), elephants will be found as well as,
and this is one of the specials of the zone some bush pig.
The zone offers all the possibilities of rich and diversified medium and
big game.
The giant eland of Derby , nicknamed "the ghost" due to it's
seldom encounter and hunt which makes it probably the most prestigious
African trophy, Lion, Buffalo, Roan antelope, Hartebeest, Western buffon's
kob (of which many are recordable), as well as numerous Duiker, Oribi,
reedbuck, waterbucks, Bushbuck, hippos, etc
you'll be able to watch
on our zone number of protected species like cheetah, giraffe, leopard,
etc..
The GAME
All the long distances are covered
in 4WD. The hunt is practiced exclusively following fresh tracks by "using
our boots".
The hunt is organised by French expert guides assisted by Cameroonians
trackers able to determine from a simple track the sex and the size of
the researched animal .
They'll get you silently close to the most fabulous species and will enable
by their efficiency to get real prestigious trophies.
The hunt as practiced by our guides is before all sporty. It is not an
easy exercise but will leave you after the effort the best hunting memories
of your life.
THE CAMP
The main camp is located 1 500 feet
a.s.l. on the shores of the superb river Mayo Loul in stream all year.
It is composed of 10 huts built in traditional materials with warm water
shower / toilets and host each two guests. There is a restaurant with
bar plus second outdoor dining room. An excellent cuisine is served at
mealtimes.
